OUR MISSION: To provide the community and travellers to the Glamorgan Springbay Municipality with the best possible emergency response achievable . By
1/ Having a highly trained and committed group of volunteer members
2 / Having the best possible equipment available to support our volunteers in the field
3 / Having a good working relationship with the Community , the Glamorgan Springbay Council ,the State Emergency Service and our partner agencies
OUR AREA: Our municipal area extends from the Denison River at Bicheno to the bottom of Bust Me Gall Hill at Runnymede. It covers in excess of 2,500 sq kilometers and has a population of approximately 4,220 which can more than double in the Summer months.
The Glamorgan/Springbay Municipality has as its eastern boundary, some of the most magnificent coastline in Australia. We are fortunate that we have the Freycinet National Park and Maria Island National Park as part of our amazing area.
